EU4U BECAME UNITED
Training course of Erasmus+ KA1 Youth workers mobility project “Enter unity – EU4U” that was hosted by DOREA came to an end. It was implemented during 8-15th November 2016 in Limassol (Cyprus). Youth workers from Cyprus, Croatia, Slovakia, Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria became united team with main goals to raise awareness on European values, youth work and great opportunities for young people in Europe.
TRAINING COURSE FOR YOUTH WORKERS
Youth workers were engaged in practical exercises that encouraged them to discuss main values of youth worker, discover their own potential in taking the action, challenge themselves for things that are unexpected, demanding to increase their courage and just do it.
Participants were working individually and in groups that gave chance for each of the participant to get to know themselves and other colleagues. During last few days 6 groups were working on social campaign, creating videos on topics such as “Youth in Europe”, “Diversity and Unity”, “Youth active citizenship”, “Freedom”, “Identity in Europe” and “Youth work for me”, which was challenging, bringing different views together, sharing their experience, perceptions on specific topic. In the end their work was shared publicly to increase awareness on those exact topics, issues, views from locals, participants from all over Europe. During the training course participants also had a chance to network, get to know each other for possible future collaboration and it is definite that new ideas for projects were developed. In the end they all received Youthpasses so to certify gained knowledge, improved skills.
