About Us

Our Story

DOREA Educational Institute is a non-profit organisation established in 2012 with the main headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus.

DOREA offers high quality non-formal education to adults and young people, covering the three main areas of non-formal education, that is socio-cultural (popular) education, education for personal development and professional training. The professionals working at DOREA, both as staff and external consultants are specialised in delivering excellent and feasible solutions for those who wish to continue personal and professional development through life-long learning educational programmes.

DOREA organises Erasmus+ staff mobility training courses for educators from all over the Europe in 12 different European countries. DOREA as well coordinates and participates in various Erasmus+ (KA1/KA2/KA3) projects and provides support to organisations in writing and submitting their own Erasmus+ KA1 project proposals.

Jolanta (MSc in Business Process Management (BPM) Vilnius University, Lithuania; BA in Management and Business Administration Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania) expanded her knowledge by the ERASMUS exchange programme at Mendel University, Faculty of Business and Economics, Brno, Czech Republic. Her organisational skills were gained mainly during the practice at international competitive intelligence joint-venture company OBI-Consulting with the main responsibilities of Innovation research on CI and assistance on implementation of international projects. In the year 2012 Jolanta Completed her valuable internship by the United Nations Development Programme “Partners 4 Value”  thus gaining the skills and knowledge of organisation and implementation of various EU funded projects. Jolanta has a vast experience in public relations and communication management, promotion and marketing as well as a coordination and management of the projects funded by the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme, MED Programme, LLP, Youth in Action, ERASMUS+. Her passion for organisational development and continuous improvement was a key step to the current position at DOREA. She is also crazy for a good music, being the violin player since childhood dreamt to become a Vanessa Mae one day.

Mrs Viktorija Triuskaite – Training and Project Coordinator (BA in Office Management – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania) has studied in Lithuania (BA), Norway (Erasmus studies) and in Georgia (Erasmus Mundus BACKIS programme), which allowed her to enhance international communication skills. She also expanded her professional knowledge during her internship at International Relations Office at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and Erasmus internship in Latvia, where she got the opportunity to work with EU projects. Afterwards, Viktorija decided that this is the area where she sees herself and should continue improving. Viktorija has been organising the Erasmus+ staff mobility training courses and implementing different Erasmus+ projects for 4 years now and she has a professional experience in project management, project dissemination, development and implementation of online marketing tools as well as organisation of different events – training courses, information meetings, presentations, conferences, etc.

Ms. Triuskaite is responsible for the management of the pool of more than 40 trainers, course participant's training needs analysis and identification, collaboration with the trainers, assignments of the new training courses to the trainers, supervision of the overall training quality. In addition Ms. Triuskaite is involved in strategic planning and the development of the new training programmes and curricula in collaboration with the trainers, EU project applications drafting and submissions.
