Opportunities with DOREA
DOREA Team is looking for 2 youth workers and 5 youth (4 youth, 1 team leader) from Cyprus to participate in upcoming Erasmus+ youth workers mobility training/youth mobility that will take place in Italy, Austria and Hungary!
The training courses are a part of Erasmus+ KA2 project “YOUTH INVOLVED IN FIRST AID”. EUinAID project aims to improve skills and competences of youth, especially NEETs (18-25) and youth workers in the field of health Assistance, by developing and testing at EU level an innovative transnational approach to First Aid practice based on Youth engagement and training, developing and straightening Youth hard-soft skills on the matter of First Aid, and spreading awareness about the importance of such practice for Health Assistance and the Society, as a whole. Erasmus+ Youth workers mobility trainings
Date and Location:
- 10th – 16th February 2020 in Budapest, Hungary
- 2nd – 8th March 2020, Limassol, Cyprus
Participants: 2 participants
What will you learn? Participants will learn how to provide adequate aid to the person in need, until the advent of specialised care. Participants will also improve their competences and soft skills in training youngsters. Training course will include practical exercises, open debates, workshops, simulation of real scenarios.
Requirements for participants:
- Age (18+ – no upper age limit)
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus
- interested in the topic of first aid, public health
- has motivation to spread the knowledge and teach others
Conditions: The accommodation, meals and plane tickets (according to Erasmus+ distance calculator) will be covered by Erasmus+ programme.
Erasmus+ Youth mobility
Dates and Locations:
- 13th – 19th January 2020 Turin, Italy
- 27th January – 2nd February 2020 Vienna, Austria
Participants: 4 participants
What will you learn? Participants will learn how to provide adequate aid to the person in need, until the advent of specialised care. Training course will include practical exercises, open debates, workshops, simulation of real scenarios, job shadowing.
Requirements for participants:
- Age (18 – 25), except group leader (no age limit)
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus
- interested in the topic of first aid and public health
- can participate in both trainings (Italy and Austira)
Conditions: The accommodation, meals and plane tickets (according to Erasmus+ distance calculator) will be covered by Erasmus+ programme.
