Common needs: Entrepreneurial skills in education

The delegates of Stowarzyszenie VESUVIO (Poland) have visited our office in the beautiful city of Limassol, Cyprus to present their work and project as well as to talk about future cooperation possibilites.

Stowarzyszenie VESUVIO takes part in the project called Entrepreneurship for Rural Areas and Social Integration – Network for Guidance and Education ((ERA+). This project has been brought to life by ERASMUS+ Key Action 2 programme. The main aim of the project is to ‘develop horizontal skills and cross-boarding entrepreneurship learning based on international communication in foreign languages via ICT’. As ERA+* states, the biggest problem nowadays, considering the global perspectives, is the migration of younger workers from rural to metropolitan areas. The project involves 6 countries and targets to solve the above mentioned problem by providing entrepreneurial education to youngsters who are living in rural areas.

The main aim of the meeting which took place on the 28^th of September, 2016 was to discuss the possible areas of cooperation between Stowarzyszenie VESUVIO and DOREA Educational Institute. The representatives together with DOREA leaders discussed the common features of their works, as well as the need of entrepreneurial skill education and what could be done to meet these needs.

As both organizations are active on the field of youth and adults development, we hope it will the beginning of a beneficial cooperation.
