DOREA Team is looking for participants from Cyprus to participate in upcoming Erasmus+ youth workers mobility trainings that will take place in Salerno, Italy and Wisla, Poland. For more information about the projects, please see below.
Erasmus+ Youth workers mobility training “Media Education-Al Challenges”
Dates: 5 – 13 September 2018
Location: Salerno, Italy
Short project description: Media consumption is a basic ingredient of the public and private life of young people, playing a fundamental role in the construction of their identity and social life. This implies the need to achieve a balance between an approach that aims to protect young people from the media and the approach that seeks to understand the multiple ways in which they adopt and adapt, use and interpret the media in their daily life, preparing them for face with greater awareness and freedom the mediated world in which they live.
The aim of the project is to create a place where youth workers can dialogue, make their own contribution, build paths and references to offer to the community of young people with whom they interface a coherent, organic and uniform proposal on the theme of citizenship education. digital and media literacy.

Participants: 1 participant
Requirements for participants:
- Age (23 -30)
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus
- interested in the world of digital and media education
Conditions: The accommodation and meals will be covered by Erasmus+ programme and the travel tickets will be refunded after the training course according to Erasmus+ distance calculator – up to 275 euros.
Erasmus+ Youth workers mobility training “LET(LearnEducateTeach)meTRY”
Dates: 4 – 11 September 2018
Location: Wisla, Poland
Short project description: Project “LET(LearnEducateTeach)meTRY” is an international training of youth workers, leaders of intercultural facilitation organizations, involving 26 youth workers (and 2 experienced trainers) from Poland, France, Greece, Italy, FYROM, Bulgaria, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, Spain.

Participants: 2 participants
Requirements for participants:
- Age (18 -35)
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus
Conditions: The accommodation and meals will be covered by Erasmus+ programme and the travel tickets will be refunded after the training course according to Erasmus+ distance calculator – up to 360 euros.
