Mindfulness for Educators

AntiBullying

Description:  Educators who practice mindfulness are much more likely to be more resilient to stress and more attentive, resulting in students having a more positive learning experience. Mindfulness helps educators to connect with students at a deeper level, creating more compassionate classrooms and enabling them to better meet students’ academic and personal needs.

During the training participants will learn about core practices of mindfulness, gain knowledge and tools on how to improve their interpersonal communication, build resilience and create mindful classrooms for student-centred learning. The participants will also be shown how they can integrate mindfulness-based educational approaches in their work with students (teaching) as well as colleagues (work context).
