Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence

Description: Emotional Intelligence (EI) is vital for mental health, which is defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community”.

EI is a greater predictor of success in almost every field of work than either prior work experience or standard IQ score. The seminar aims at promoting awareness of the importance of EI and providing tools for developing EI through education

The course gives teachers the opportunity to enhance their understanding of emotional intelligence and how to apply that understanding in a teaching role in an informal environment and help others manage change and deal with stress.

Valuable experience – improving my personal qualities and teaching skills.

It was perfect - the subject, the trainer, the team!

I've learned new things, developed new skills and I believe I have more tools now to become a better teacher!

I liked the way the course was structured and how the trainer combined the theory and practise!
