BE YOU project
DOREA Team is looking for 3 youth workers (residents of Cyprus) to take part in upcoming training courses. The training courses are a part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “BE YOU”.
The project ” Build efficiently your own understanding!” ( BE YOU) aims to offer a solution through which youth workers contribute to reducing the social and professional anxiety of young people from Generation Z. The solution developed in the project is the innovative training tool, BE YOU, through which Generation Z youth improve their ability to communicate face-to-face, manage time, work in teams and increase their self-confidence. Training courses
- BE YOU: Communication, self-confidence and time management
- Date: 22nd -26th July 2024 (excluding travelling days)
- Location: Malmö, Sweden
The learning activity will bring together 15 youth workers from partner organizations from Sweden, Romania, Cyprus, Greece and Poland. During this 5 days of training, participants will contribute to each other’s personal and professional growth with the help of non-formal education and group learning to prepare the BE YOU Kit. Participants will explore topics such as self-confidence, face-to-face communication and time management skills as well as get to know more about LARPS (Live-action role-playing games) and how they can be integrated into youth work.

2. BE YOU: Working in teams and combating anxiety
- Date: 2nd -6th September 2024 (excluding travelling days)
- Location: Krakow, Poland
The learning activity will bring together 15 youth workers from partner organizations from Sweden, Romania, Cyprus, Greece and Poland. The second workshop is designed to help participants to develop their own skills and competencies to assist Gen Z in developing the ability to work in teams and collaborate to combat social and professional anxiety.
The travel, accommodation and meals are covered by the Erasmus+ programme.
Participants profile
Applicants should:
- Residents of Cyprus
- Have at least a B1 English language level
- Have interested in exploring the project topics
- Work with youth
- Be motivated to take part in Erasmus + project, work in an international team and share their experiences in the follow-up period;
- Be ready to work in a mix-intercultural learning environment, to contribute to successful project implementation.
The priority will be given to participants who can attend both workshops.
