From 3rd till 4th of October 2017, representatives from DOREA, Stowarzyszenie VESUVIO, Mittetulundusühing EURIKA, MITRA FRANCE and TDM 2000 INTERNATIONAL met for the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Creative reading and writing: exchange of teaching strategies” kick-off meeting in Nice, France. Together we discussed the administrative part of the project (monitoring, dissemination and evaluation activities, and financial aspects), upcoming deadlines and activities, divided responsibilities and clarified some key points. The meeting also allowed us to get to know each other even better and form project management team that would work towards successful implementation of the project.
The project is designed to promote media literacy, exchange of experience and practices between organizations involved in adult education. All project partners want to involve to the project activities adult learners who have difficulties to understand media texts and to express themselves in mainstream and especially in social media, to show their needs and opinions to general public and decision makers. Reading and writing competencies can improve their self-confidence and lifestyle, to support their involvement in the social life and motivate for future learning.
