Join the Erasmus+ Green FabLabs Training Programme
Are you a cultural professional, creative practitioner, or someone working in the cultural sector in Cyprus? Would you like to gain new skills, grow your network across Europe, and contribute to creating inclusive, green, and community-based cultural spaces?
We are looking for 4 motivated individuals based in Cyprus to join the Green FabLabs international training programme, co-funded by Erasmus+. This unique opportunity will take you through three immersive 5-day training workshops in Spain (June 2025), Poland (September 2025), and Cyprus (2026).
What’s the Green FabLabs project all about?
The Erasmus+ KA2 “Green FabLabs” project empowers cultural workers to:
- Apply Design Thinking to co-create an inclusive cultural space
- Explore eco-friendly and sensory-friendly community design
- Use art therapy techniques to support mental well-being through culture
As a part of the project, 3 workshops will be organised:
Workshop 1 – Design Thinking & Inclusive Cultural Spaces
📍 Girona, Spain | 1–5 June 2025
Discover the principles of Design Thinking and learn how to co-create inclusive spaces that serve diverse communities. Explore the concept of FabLabs—shared learning and creative hubs—and prototype new ideas for community-driven cultural places.
Workshop 2 – Green FabLabs & Sensory-Friendly Design
📍 Wroclaw, Poland | 15–19 September 2025
Dive into ecological design thinking and learn how to build sensory-friendly, green spaces for learning and connection. From eco-awareness to urban gardening and accessible public design—this hands-on experience brings culture and sustainability together.
Workshop 3 – Art Therapy & Well-being in Culture
📍 Limassol, Cyprus | 2026 (dates TBA)
Explore how art therapy can be used to support mental health and inclusion in cultural spaces. Learn how to create safe, supportive environments and “sensitive teams” that make everyone feel welcome and seen.

The priority will be given to applications from:
- Cultural professionals, community artists, educators, and animators
- Individuals passionate about inclusive and sustainable cultural work
