Training course
DOREA is inviting young women living in Cyprus to take part in an upcoming training course, that is organised as a part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project "VIeW- empowered women". During the training course, participants will delve deeper into a range of topics, from civil awareness to digital skills and storytelling, facilitated by expert trainers from Bulgaria, Spain, and Cyprus. Participants will also have a chance to explore the nature and culture of Vilnius through a captivating "Cultural Detective" game.
DATES: 22 - 26 April 2024 (travel dates included)
LOCATION: Vilnius, Lithuania
PARTICIPANTS: 4 per country + 1 trainer
COUNTRIES: Cyprus - Spain - Bulgaria - Lithuania
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS: Accommodation and meals are fully covered.
FLIGHTS: The flight tickets are refunded up to 360 euros.
PARTICIPANT'S PROFILE:
- Young women residing in Cyprus
- At least B1 English language level
- Strongly interested in exploring the topic - of women's empowerment, active citizenship and human rights.
- Motivated to work on the development of their personal and professional competencies in an international setting (communication, teamwork, problem-solving, conflict management and presentation);
- Motivated to take part in Erasmus + project, work in an international team and share their experiences in the follow-up period;
- Ready to work in a mix-intercultural learning environment, to contribute to successful project implementation;

"VIRAGO – empowered Women" project
The project aims to connect and engage youth workers and female volunteers across Bulgaria, Lithuania, the Canary Islands, and Cyprus, empowering them with the VIRAGO concept and human rights-based response against war. It aims to build their competencies and motivate them to undertake inclusive national on/offline campaigns to tackle issues like human rights violations, and irresponsible use of nature, and promote resilience towards war, involving diverse females and Ukrainian refugees.
