The Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV) is the EU funding programme launched in 2021, supporting projects related to democracy, equality, rights, participation and Union values.
The CERV programme focuses on 4 main strands:
- EQUALITY, RIGHTS AND GENDER EQUALITY – promoting rights, non-discrimination, equality (including gender equality), and advancing gender and non-discrimination mainstreaming
- CITIZENS’ ENGAGEMENT AND PARTICIPATION – promoting citizens’ engagement and participation in the democratic life of the Union, exchanges between citizens of different Member States, and raising awareness of the common European history
- DAPHNE – fight violence, including gender-based violence and violence against children
- UNION VALUES – protect and promote Union values

Who can apply? Civil society organisations active at local, regional, national and transnational levels, as well as other stakeholders, can apply for CERV funding.

Partnering with DOREA

With 14 years of experience, DOREA has built strong expertise in turning civic, equality and inclusion-related themes into practical educational, awareness-raising and digital learning activities for diverse target groups. DOREA could contribute through:
- designing and delivering training programmes, workshops and capacity-building activities in face-to-face, online or hybrid formats
- developing educational materials, toolkits, facilitator resources and learning methodologies
- planning and implementing awareness-raising, dissemination and outreach campaigns
