Exploring Non-Formal Methods and Gamification in Bologna, Italy
In early November, youth workers from Romania, Spain, Cyprus, and Italy gathered in Bologna for a training session organized by Erasmus Learning Academy (ELA). This event was an extraordinary journey into the captivating world of non-formal education and gamification as a part of the Erasmus+ KA2 BEST project!
The dynamic course explored the transformative power of “Gamified Non-Formal Activities” to ignite youth motivation and critical thinking. Participants were introduced to innovative strategies and activities, covering key topics such as non-formal education trends, the essence of gamification, and the creation of gamified activities. They also gained hands-on experience in designing gamified tasks tailored to specific subjects.
Outside the classroom, participants enjoyed a special tour organized by ELA. They wandered through historic streets, visited iconic monuments, and uncovered the seven secrets that make Bologna unique.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the enthusiastic participants for their active engagement and to the trainer for sparking our creativity with innovative educational approaches. As we move forward, let’s continue to embrace new ideas and empower our students through the enchanting world of gamified learning.
