- Introduction to critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills - its significance in developing 21st-century skills
- Practical strategies and techniques for critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills in the classroom
- Designing assignments and assessments that promote critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills
- Utilising technology to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills
Wednesday – Cultivating students' creativity and innovation
- Introduction to the role of creativity and innovation in 21st-century skill development
- Strategies and techniques for promoting imagination, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in students
- Encouraging creativity through problem-based learning, project-based learning, open-ended assignments and innovation challenges
- Incorporating design thinking and innovation into the curriculum
Thursday - Integration and Application of 21st-Century Skills

Competences Acquired by Participants
The aim of this training is to equip educators with the knowledge and skills required to effectively develop and nurture 21st-century skills, focusing on critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, within their classrooms. By the end of the programme, participants will have a deeper understanding of global competence and its significance in preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. They will also gain practical strategies and resources to integrate and assess 21st-century skills in their teaching practices, enabling them to cultivate students' abilities to think critically, communicate effectively, collaborate successfully, and unleash their creative potential.
The specific objectives are:
- Provide participants with knowledge and understanding of global competence and its domains
- Provide participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively nurture critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity in their students
- Offer practical strategies and tools for integrating these skills into the curriculum and classroom activities
