Description: The course offers innovative understandings and tools for tapping into one’s creativity and unleashing entrepreneurial spirit. Creativity is a foundation for “out of the box” and innovative solutions to life challenges and new discoveries. The course is intended for organisations that recognise the fact that developing creativity in staff and students is a jumping point for accessing unlimited potential and creating ground-breaking initiatives.

Daily Programme

Monday

  • Arrival, welcoming and getting to know each other
  • Tour guided walk in the old town of Limassol
  • Introduction to the course
  • Individual expectations
  • Team bonding games
  • Meet others and present yourself in a creative way – creative exercise
  • The nature of creativity and why is it important in education and in everyday life–presentations and discussion

Tuesday

  • Understanding the nature of the creative process
  • Self-reflection on areas of life filled with creativity and those that lack creativity
  • Mind expansion – engaging creativity in new areas of life
  • Creative ways of dealing with stress
  • Supportive and unsupportive thinking strategies
  • Games to stimulate creative thinking

Wednesday

  • Disney model – a technique to generate creative solutions – presentation and exercises
  • How to implement the Disney model in educational setting
  • Trip to archeological sites and traditional villages followed by wine testing. Noticing expressions of creativity during the excursion.

Thursday

  • Stimulating group creativity – brainstorming, art, use of metaphor as creative problem solving strategies
  • Working with circles as a strategy for stimulating equality, engagement, confidence, support and creativity
  • Experiential activities with the above mentioned methods – interpersonal competence

Friday

  • Questions that facilitate creative thinking
  • Mini-coaching around creative projects with the facilitator and pear-coaching
  • Body movement in service of creativity

Saturday

  • “Creating the impossible” – how to unleash the Creative Genius in ordinary people
  • Creative planning – how will you apply the tools in your life
  • Summary, course evaluation and closure
Competences Acquired by Participants

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Develop understanding of creative thinking process
  • Change old thinking habits and develop new ways of thinking
  • Engage own spontaneity, curiosity, playfulness and creative power
  • Identify obstacles to creativity and offer tools to overcome those obstacles
  • Allow the educators to find new more attractive ways of teaching/training/coaching their students/coworkers hence increase the attractiveness of the lessons/projects
  • Prevent routine and boredom in educators’ work hence increase work satisfaction and prevent burn-out syndrome
  • Introduce the concept of inner endless source of wisdom and provide tools for accessing it
  • Provide the opportunity to reflect how creativity can be applied in the participants organization/classroom/life
  • Provide tools for stimulating students’ creativity
  • Take advantage of international group and generate creative solutions (e.g through brain storming) to real challenges of the participants

Please note that ‘All in one – single room’ and ‘All in one – double room’ packages are being offered in all locations except London, Dublin, Barcelona, Athens, Porto, Lyon, Split and Pisa, where we have only the ‘Basic’ course package.

*Choose double room sharing if you are 2 colleagues from the same organisation willing to share a double room/ or if you have any accompanying person travelling to the venue of the course together with you (we can arrange the accommodation for accompanying persons as well).

Note: separate invoices for the training fee only (350 EUR) can be issued upon the request from the organisation.
