Opportunities with DOREA
DOREA Team is looking for participants from Cyprus to participate in upcoming Erasmus+ youth exchange and Erasmus+ youth workers mobility trainings that will take place in Komotini, Greece and Sofia, Bulgaria. For more information about the projects, please see below.
Erasmus+ Youth exchange “Social City”
Date: 10-19 December 2017
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Short project description: The main training course will focus on dealing with social marginalization, awareness of urban social issues and active participation of youth in the civic society through Non-Formal Education methods.
Participants: 3 participants
Requirements for participants:
- 18-25 years old
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus
Conditions: The accommodation and meals will be covered by Erasmus+ programme and the travel tickets will be refunded according to Erasmus+ distance calculator – up to 275 euros.
Erasmus+ Youth exchange “Erasmus Muse”

Date: 13-21 October 2017
Location: Komotini, Greece
Short project description: A youth exchange where participants will get familiar with Art and Culture as it’s presented through the 9 Muses in an interactive way through creative workshops. Each day will be devoted to getting to know each Muse and what it stands for, performing related actions through the scope of participant countries.
By learning History with Clio, reciting Poems with Calliope and Erato, singing with Euterpe and Polyhymnia, acting with Melpomene and Thalia, dancing with Terpsichore and dreaming with Urania, the young people not only will have a great entertainment but also they will get to know how important the arts are for the European Civilization and their European Identification and Citizenship.
Participants: 6 participants (5 participants in age between 18 – 25 years old and one leader with no age limit)
Requirements for participants:
- 18-25 years old
- at least B1 English level
- residents of Cyprus

Erasmus+ Youth workers mobility “Social Innovations”

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Short project description
The training is a practice-based learning for people who are interested in entrepreneurship. By participating in the course the youth workers will gain knowledge on how to spread the entrepreneurship spirit, how to develop their own ideas and make them a working business. The participants will gain practical skills and will know how to teach entrepreneurship by developing their own skills of planning and managing a successful business.
Participants: 1 participant (no age limit)
Requirements for participants:
- Interested in entrepreneurship topic
- at least B1 English level
- resident of Cyprus
Conditions: The accommodation and meals will be covered by Erasmus+ programme and the travel tickets will be refunded according to Erasmus+ distance calculator – up to 275 euros.
